Master Silk is Street-certified. Suit-verified. Wisdom you can feel.
Master Silk isn’t a myth—he’s the blueprint. Born and raised in Chicago, hardened by the streets, and refined by boardrooms, he’s a man who has seen it all and lived to pull the coat on every damn bit of it. A Marine Corps veteran, licensed attorney, former street entrepreneur, and now a multi-business investor, Silk is living proof that reinvention is real—but respect must be built, brick by brick.
More Than a Hustler—He’s a Legacy Builder
Back in the day, they called him Seldom Seen—not because he was hiding, but because real bosses move in silence. From bars and strip clubs to escort services and adult film ventures, Silk ran his game tight. But unlike most, he invested in his people. The women who worked for him didn’t just leave with cash—they left with cars, homes, stock, and options.
Today, he owns several successful companies and teaches others how to pivot from the streets to sustainability.
The Voice Behind the Mic
Master Silk is the creator and host of the podcast Let Me Pull Your Coat: The Unfiltered World of Master Silk, where he gives raw, unpolished, and unapologetic advice on life, love, business, betrayal, loyalty, and legacy. His voice is smooth, his delivery is slick, and his truth? It cuts straight to the bone.
Listeners around the world tune in every week not just for the game—but for the growth.
The Mission
Silk’s goal is simple: Elevate the people who were never supposed to make it. Whether he’s helping young men stay off the block, guiding women out of survival mode, or teaching veterans how to build wealth, he does it with style, swagger, and substance.
And when he speaks, even the silence leans in.
“I built respect before I ever built wealth.” – Master Silk

Welcome And The Week’s Theme
SPEAKER_00Welcome back to Let Me Pull Your Coat. Today's episode is hosted by me, Satin Doll, and the one and only baby doll. We will take you through a sample of this week's many messages left via email and voicemail. We'll be talking about something a lot of people chase: Sass Money. Where we come from, fast money looks like freedom, feels like control, feels like power. But what most people don't understand is fast money comes with slow consequences. And those consequences don't show up right away. They wait until you're comfortable. And if you've been watching true tales from the Let Me Pull Your Coat podcast on YouTube, then you already know that the story always sounds good in the beginning. The ending people never plan for. Get into these questions. Go to Letme PullYourcoat.com. Leave a voice message. Check the Your Post page. Read the reviews page. Watch the video page. Then go to YouTube and subscribe to True Tales from the Let Me Pull Your Coat podcast. There you'll find the 100% True Tales, the podcast, and personal videos. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, fanbase, and YouTube. And shout out to everybody supporting us through Buy Me a Coffee and Cash App. You're keeping Silk's Glass full, not to mention us girls off the streets. Now let's get it.
Shay And Luxury Without Control
SPEAKER_01First, we have Trayvon from Memphis, Tennessee. He says he's making good money hustling, more than he's ever made legally, and doesn't see a reason to switch. Trayvon, let me say this clearly. not making more money. You're taking more risks. I've seen that mindset up close and personal. When the money is coming fast, everything feels justified. You tell yourself you'll stack it, flip it, get out later. But later rarely comes because fast money changes your standards. You get used to it. You build your life around it. And now regular income feels like a step down. What you're really doing is building a lifestyle that depends on instability. And the moment that instability hits, everything you built around it collapses. The real question is not how much you're making, it's how long you can keep it without losing everything attached to it. I sent you Silk's personal contact. If you want a true hustler's opinion, call him. Or don't. It's up to you. You confront all you want. But there's a reason you contacted us, and it wasn't to brag.
SPEAKER_00Next we have Shay from Las Vegas, Nevada. She says she's dating a man who funds her lifestyle completely, but she knows she has no control if he decides to leave. Say, that's not security. That's dependency dressed up as luxury. I've been around that world. Nice places. Fancy trips. Money flowing. On the surface, it looks like everything is taken care of. But behind that, there's no foundation. The moment his mood changes, your situation changes. You don't control the source, you don't control your life. There is nothing wrong with being supported. You cannot stand on your own. You are one decision away from losing everything. Trust me, men like that are always looking for a newer, upgraded model, whether that's a car or a woman. You're just another one of his accessories that he owns.
Darius And Going Legit After Time
SPEAKER_01Now we have Darius from Newark, New Jersey. He says he just came home from doing time and wants to go legit, but nobody is giving him opportunities. Darius, that's one of the hardest transitions there is. Because when you come home, everybody tells you to do better, but nobody shows you how. I've seen men in that position. Trying to go straight, trying to build something, but doors keep closing. And the streets are still open, still familiar, still fast, but going back is easy. Staying out, that takes discipline. You have to be willing to build slow, to take less, to be uncomfortable for a while. Because the real win is not just making money, it's keeping your freedom while you do it. I've sent your message to Silk with a personal note. He should be contacting you shortly. I know for a fact that Silk can help you.
Monique And A Better Savings System
Rashad And The Burden Of Being Up
SPEAKER_00Next we have Monique from Brooklyn, New York. Monique says she's been saving money, but she keeps dipping into it for emergencies and never builds anything long term. Monique, that's because you don't have a system. You're saving money without structure, it's only temporary. I had to learn that myself. Master Silk taught me that when you put something aside, you feel good about it. Then when something always comes up and it's gone. Master Silk taught me that the problem is not the money, the lack of boundaries around it. You need to create separate piles for your money. You'll need spending money. You'll need emergency money, then you'll need growth money. Took me a moment to understand that. In other words, there is a certain pile of money that you never touch regardless of the situation.
SPEAKER_01Now we have Rashad from Sacramento, California. He says he's making money now but feels pressured to take care of everyone around him. Rashad, that pressure will break you if you let it. I've watched people come up and immediately get surrounded by expectations. Family, friends, people from the past. Everybody always needs something. And if you try to carry all of that, you will slow your own growth. Helping is one thing, but sacrificing your future to fix everybody's present, that's how people stay stuck. You cannot build something solid if you're constantly giving pieces of it away before it's stable.
Keisha And Trading Chaos For Stability
SPEAKER_00Now we have Keisha from Atlanta, Georgia. Says she left the 304 life, got a regular job, but feels like she downgraded her life. Baby girl, listen. You didn't downgrade, stabilized your life. The difference. The streets give you highs, excitement, and that rush of being chose. You get quick money. Major attention, then fast movement. That doesn't give you peace. That doesn't give you consistency. That doesn't give you safety and longevity. Take it from a bitch that knows all about it. I know all about the expensive hotels, and I know about the ones with the piss-stained mattresses. I know all about the fine dining, and I know about just eating Vienna sausages and buzzballs. I also know about the STDs and court appearances. I know about facing felony charges just because I had the wrong pimp. Once I saw that I was repeating a loop with no way out, I contacted China doll and she put me in touch with Silk. I followed his lead, and I'm no longer wondering where I'll sleep tonight. I no longer degrade myself just for a roof over my head for a few nights. What you're feeling right now is adjustment. You're not used to stability yet. But once you build on it, you'll realize you didn't lose anything. You gain control.
SPEAKER_01Here are your shoutouts of the week. Shout out to Everett in Kansas City, Missouri. Shout out to Kareem in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Shout out to Shardet in London, England. Subscribe, Voicemail, Merch, Closing
SPEAKER_00Here is your coat pull of the week. Bass Money will teach you the wrong lessons if you chase it too long. Take it from me, a bitch that stayed in that life longer than most of our listeners have been alive. It will teach you that speed is success. It will teach you that risk is normal. It will teach you that instability is just part of the game, how to keep anything. What it doesn't teach you is how to build something that lasts. What it doesn't teach you is how to protect what you earn. Then it definitely doesn't teach you how to walk away before it costs you more than you made. Everything about fast money is designed to keep you moving, not to think, not to plan, not to build, how to react. And the longer you live like that, the harder it becomes to slow down and do things the legal, safe way. So the real question isn't, how much can I make? The real question is, what is this going to cost me in the end? Every dollar you make fast comes with something attached to it. Your time, your freedom, your peace, your reputation, or your future. Then if you don't think about that now, you will feel it later. Trust me.
