LET ME PULL YOUR COAT: ADVICE FROM THE BLADE TO THE BOARDROOM

Boundaries, Betrayal, and Building Better Circles

Master Silk Season 2 Episode 1

Text For Some Good Game

Master Silk and China have returned with sharper minds, bigger accomplishments, and absolutely zero tolerance for users and fakers. While many podcasters apologize for breaks, we've been busy elevating - acquiring business stakes, flipping properties, organizing investment groups, and strategically reducing our circles to increase our peace.

"I downgraded my circle and upgraded my life," Silk reveals, sharing how he's balanced closing stock deals with quality time taking his sons to jazz festivals and beach bonfires. Meanwhile, China found new air in California, partnering with investors on real estate projects while building "a small army of women who used to sell it and now they own it." This season isn't just talk - it's a masterclass in strategic growth during silence.

The listener questions hit different this season as we tackle everything from OnlyFans relationship boundaries to church affairs, family estrangement and reconnection after death. Our approach remains unfiltered but comes from a place of genuine care and lived experience. One standout moment addresses the pain of raising a child alone only to be forgotten - offering both compassion and clarity without false hope. The wisdom here isn't theoretical; it's battle-tested. As we say in our coat pull of the week: "You can't keep pouring love into people who sip from your cup like it's theirs, then spit in your face when it's empty." China Doll:

It's the season two of Let Me Pull your Coat the unfiltered world of Master Silk. Did you miss us? We missed you too, but don't get it twisted. We ain't been sitting still. And before we dig into these problems, let's be crystal clear we're not the same as we were last season.

Master Silk:

Facts. While we were off the mic, we were still making moves. While we were off the mic, we were still making moves. I've been on the road, closing stock deals, buying into a few new companies and spending some real quality time with my sons. I took them to a jazz fest, two amusement parks and a beach bonfire out in Panama City. It's all about balance, business and blood. If you read my last blog post titled the Day After my Birthday, I Cut the Cord with Ghost Supporters, you'd know exactly how I deal with leeches and users. I downgraded my circle and upgraded my life. I haven't been sitting around sipping tea. I've been buying stocks, flipping companies, cutting off leeches and raising two solid young men who know how to move with power and peace. I bought back time, land and respect, while some of these folks out here are begging for likes and couch hopping.

China Doll:

And I left the Midwest and landed in Cali, but helped flip two properties, got on the payroll of a women's investment group and built a small army of women who used to sell it and now they own it. I've been living soft and stacking hard. So if you still think I'm the same girl you met in stilettos and smoke on East 14th, think again. I didn't get soft. I'm still giving game, Still snatching wigs with the truth. Oh too, Let me pull your coatcom and leave a voicemail. We pick the realest messages for the show. Don't be shy, we're real, not cute, and if you're bald enough to get red on air, we're bold enough to tell you the truth. Remember, if you have any suggestions for a show or want to appear on the show, feel free to leave a voicemail or comment. If you're new here, hit, subscribe and follow us on every social media platform. And don't forget that merch drop Caps, jackets, tumblers and hoodies. We've got folks rocking the merch in London, Detroit and Ghana right now. You could be next.

Master Silk:

First we have Gerald from Sydney, Australia. He asks Silk, what made you step away for a while and what were you doing that made it worth it? Gerald, I fell back because I needed to recalibrate. I spent time acquiring 15% ownership in two manufacturing startups, one called Carol Waterpods and another one in Atlanta. I also took time to reconnect with my boys. We hit a three-day jazz fest with deep-sea fishing, and I even let them beat me at laser tag once, just once. But I wasn't laying low, I was laying foundation. When you build legacy, you move different. Quiet power is louder than loud talk.

China Doll:

Next up is Maria from Oakland. She asks China how's life been since moving to California? Korea Bay Area love is different Lot of poses and uses, people that will finesse you for one sandwich instead of rocking with you for the full buffet. But there are also decent people here as well. I partnered with a Latina investor to co-rehab two triplexes in East LA, ran two women-led money roundtables and still had time to throw a soul food cookout that had lawyers and strippers sharing plates. I needed to breathe new air. California gave me space and sunlight. I finished, but I'm fired up. Plus, soak was out here when I heard about his grind and moves he was making. Silk was out here when I heard about his grind and moves he was making. I'd be a damn fool not to want to be a part of it. I'm telling you, ladies, if you want to elevate your life, you need to reach out to Silk. He ain't trying to smash, he's trying to stack and he'll show you how.

Master Silk:

Next up is Dwayne in Newark, new Jersey. He says my girl has an OnlyFans. I knew when we met, but now I want her to stop. She said I'm insecure. Am I wrong? You're not wrong for having boundaries, but you are wrong for thinking you can change somebody after agreeing to their terms. She was showing cheeks when you signed up. Don't catch feelings in a contract you already read. You knew what she was about when you met her. Oh, let me guess you thought your love was so strong and powerful that she'd drop everything and follow you blindly, please. You thought wrong. You knew beforehand. You know what I'm done talking to you Because you don't love her. You want to control her. The fact that she accepted you after already having an OnlyFans should have made you proud that she chose you and now one of her subscribers that has the money to pay to see her. You're seeing her for free.

Master Silk:

Next we have Kendrick in Atlanta. He states she's married, a whole first lady of the church, but she won't leave me alone. We messed around and now I feel guilty, but she the one chasing me. What do I do, kendrick? Let's be real. The collar don't cover the chaos. I've had preachers, wives and deacons' daughters blowing up my line too. It's the illusion of clean that makes them dirty. She ain't yours to fix or feel sorry for. You think she choosing you out of love. No, she's addicted to escaping her mundane life. Block her and stop going to that church Before her husband catch wind and you end up laying on your back staring at the roof of the church while being on the pastor's sermon as Exhibit A in lust.

China Doll:

This next one is from a baby in Lagos, nigeria. He states my father wasn't perfect. I cut him off for years. He passed last month and I'm drowning in guilt. How do I fix it? You fix it by forgiving yourself. None of us get it perfectly. I did something similar once with my aunt. She passed while we weren't speaking. I wrote her a letter, burned it and used that fire to do better with everyone still here. I reconnected with people that had hurt, used or disrespected me. Notice I didn't say I forgave them, I just reached out. You can't move forward by holding on to the past. If you can change, so can other people. Let go of guilt that you can't control. Keep looking forward and you'll never see the past Grieve. Grow and move forward.

Master Silk:

This one is from Ritchie in Toronto, canada. He says my son got married. I found out through Facebook. I raised him alone, worked two jobs, his mother poisoned him against me and now he treats me like I never existed. Reggie, you raised a man who forgot who fed him. That hurt is real. I've had that too Kids choosing the story they were told instead of the man who showed up every damn day. But here's the thing Don't beg, don't chase. Let life correct you and when he hits that wall called reality, you'll be there standing tall if you choose to. Until then, celebrate yourself. You did what many couldn't do.

China Doll:

China Doll:

You can't keep pouring love into people who sip from your cup like it's theirs, then spitting your face when it's empty or kindness ain't a weakness, but it becomes one when you ignore the disrespect. This year, silk and I watched people we've loaned thousands to ignore our calls. Folks we gave couches, cars, connections vanish like we never existed. But we ain't even mad. But see, if you only show up when my hand is open, then disappear when it closes. You were never there for me. You were there for you. It's season. We're not begging, we're not explaining. We're cutting off leeches before they drain us dry. Check your circle. Some people need to be deleted like junk mail, unread and unbobbic. We're back, we'reic.

Master Silk:

We're back. We're sharper, we're colder, we're loving harder, but we're not taking shit. Let me pull your code 8 for the week. The posers or the wannabes it's for the ones who've been betrayed, broke, bruised and still stood up, my kings and queens, the ones that want to better their lives and their situations.
